Hiatus? Pause for reflection?
It seems that I have dropped the ball on keeping this buddy up to date. I've tried going back to Tumblr and working that site for a bit but it seems that hasn't panned out as planned. I think what's really gone on is that I just don't feel the need to share anything at this moment. So, I'm not going to be putting anything up anywhere unless I'm particularly moved to. I'm going to take some time, think about what it is I'm trying to do, what and if there is a project. Or I'm just going to forget about blogging and tumbling all together and they will become two more accounts to add to the antique shelf.

a terribly taunting tuesday
Today is an exciting day, or I expect that it's going to be an exciting day. It's just that the exciting hasn't happened yet because apparently it takes time (days) for digital money to be digitally transferred from one digital location to another digital location. It's not like the bank has to put my money in an envelope and hand deliver it to a secret paypal location where it will then be deposited into one of the millions of paypal's mason jars.
I'm being impatient about this because I've been waiting a week to be able to buy some new comic books and waiting to buy only prolongs that amount of time it's going to take for the physical books to get into my physical hands (see how that's different from the digital money?).
Julia Wertz and Lucy Knisley are two of my favourite artists and I'm really looking forward to getting a couple of books from each. Something really exciting is that Lucy Knisley did a book with Erica Moen (Dar comics that I bought awhile ago). Worlds colliding and it's awesome. I would feel almost complete if I could have something from Rene Engström and Aaron Diaz. I suppose it's good to take these things one step at a time.
