Treasures

The nice thing about doing summer school in university, as a opposed to doing it in high school, is that you're not sitting in a stifling hot portable in August redoing math you already deemed useless, which is what you lead there in the first place.
The not so nice thing is that you're still doing school in the summer. Oh yeah, and that little choice-adult-thing is key.

My partner recently took a trip to Finland.  This may not seem terribly exciting to most, but for me, it is very exciting, especially because I got souvenirs and I didn't even have to travel.

The two most exciting of these treasures that I feel the need to share are:

my very own copy of the Finnish epic: The Kalevala, and to go with it:

a bookmark that says "bookmark" in Swedish (because I'm Swedish, not Finnish so it evens everything out).

For some reason I can only write updates when I have a deadline looming. See high school summer school above for logical answer.

I'm taking summer courses too! Rather a pain actually.. this is my last semester of undergrad. I thought I was free and then realized that I didn't have quite enough credits to graduate, so my already lengthy undergrad career has stretched out even further. Honestly I am worried that it will never end.
