The quitting smoking is a hell of a lot better now than it was Friday and now that I'm back from the very interesting camping music festival I just attended it should be all system go for running. But, no. That would be too easy. It seems that there are now two things getting in my way. 1) I have really bad sunburns on my legs and I can't bend them as easily as I should be able to because the skin is too tight and burnt. 2) There is something very strange and painful and mind-blowingly irritating going on with my feet. Last week I was out at a barbecue and then at a farm and was viciously attacked by mosquitos. My cat has fleas and they are not going away and it's becoming a serious problem to point where my roommate and I have a couple of bites. The culmination of these situations with increased heat to the area and my obsessive need to scratch has lead to my feet looking like this:

Needless to say, they are swollen to almost twice their size and I can't walk properly. It hasn't been like this for too long and I'm interchangingly using prolysporin and benadryl cream so the problem should go away in a matter of days.
Still, this sucks. I just want to start running. Curse you ailments!

Nelson's quitting smoking for the nth time. He keeps forgetting to put on his nicotine patch and then can't figure out why he's in such a horrible mood. We had a really scary drive the other night because he was getting mad at all the drivers.
Your poor feet :(
