This is the most optimistic and confident I've ever felt going into the school year. My courses are going to be fantastic, except for that one that is always that one that becomes the neglected and/or hated course. Crime fiction, speculative fiction, what is violence?, geo-aesthetics, understanding understanding and truth, and that one that we just won't talk about.
Now I just have get the work that has piled up over the summer off of my desk so I can start anew. Again.
