I think I remember seeing an episode of Magic School Bus that dealt with Arnold coming down with a case of the strep throat. That would be comforting to watch right now. But, I have to wonder, would it be as comfortable as watching LOTR: Return of the King?
I like to think that the Streptococcus bacteria currently waging a violent attack on my oh so sensitive throat (pharynx) is not that different from Sauron's armies attacking Minas Tirith. Here I made a diagram:
Being sick and feverish and not able to focus on anything leaves a person with a lot of time to google their illness, in-depth. I think I missed my calling as a doctor. Or as a hypochondriac.
Edit: In a week's time, I expect to feeling THIS happy.
